Student life, consists pretty much of pancakes with chocolate chips, endless snuggling under the duvet, coffee, chitchats at the university cafe, late nights with wine and good company, no blogging oh and a bit of studying! It is my exams period and I am stuck under a huge pile of books and little notes. However, I must say I really enjoy late nights with homework along with pancakes and my beautiful friend Christina at home. I started to cook (yey) instead of ordering pizza, clean my apartment more regularly and organize my shopping list. You know, some days it is either the food or the clothes! There are these nights were I stay up late, eating mushroom soup, studying, thinkin' about my old life...I really do not miss anything at all! Being a student in the university of another city is just whimsical. Sorry mom and dad!

Of all days I mostly adore the lazy ones, when you lie in bed, careless and free. You snuggle up with some hot cocoa and your teddy bears, tucked in your warm floral duvet. I usually go over my scrapbooks, listen to Radio Dept. and make plans for the future.

My life has been pretty lazy the past weeks but that's the part I love about the holidays! I've been out and about in the city only a few times, mostly for coffee or small walks. I also bought a bunch of pretty stuff for my house and I can't wait to get there. I'm leaving my parents' house on Sunday. So excited to go baaaaack!The non-so-exciting part is that as soon as I get back, I need to start studying for my semester exams..pff! I'll soon be back!

Feeling like Julia Child in her kitchen, preparing tarts and pies for new year's eve while dancing to jazz along with my dad! 2011 has been full of happy moments,sweet cupcakes,songs, trips and dear people that I will forever cherish. This year, my life changed in every little aspect. I am now living on my own in a cosy place, studying what I always wanted and being surrounded by people I really care about. I really couldn't ask for more. Ok, I could ask for a Nikon but I am still toooo happy and grateful for everything I have! But most of all I am grateful for this little thing called, LOVE. I am one lucky girl!

And as a good girl, I've already prepared my resolutions! Oh I so loooove this part of New Year's eve

do something creative, like taking sewing lessons

spend more time with my friends

bake mooooore cupcakes. Because cupcakes are never enough

Merry Christmas to the sweetest blogworld! I finally returned to my sweet hometown to celebrate these festive days with family and friends. The past few days have been wonderful and absolutely whimsical. The city center is beautifully decorated and lighted, the bakeries have the most tasteful christmas sweets and the milky hot chocolate has replaced my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm absolutely planning on spending my time here with my family and close friends drinking tea at my favorite and missed cafes, sharing stories and exchanging gifts!

Now I am off to go bake Christmas cupcakes! Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello there! This time I can properly say I am a student, living an amazing student life. I'm successfully living on my own, for almost a month and it is pretty exciting, I must say. Started cooking, going to classes, redecorating the place and puzzling with the cupboards. Made a great bunch of friends, went to great places and parties. I am now applying for some sewing/sketching classes and exploring cool cafes and tea salons! Got a great pile of books to study for my literature classes and a lot to organize...Life has never been cooler!

TRICK OR TREAT? hello hello! Hope you had a great time on Halloween last Monday! My bff Daphne hosted the most amazing Halloween Party ever! We didn't actually dress up but we did scary makeup. We made mummy hot dogs and pizza and drunk Halloween fruit punch, all so so lovely and yummy. Alex and Daphne also made cupcakes, the pumpkin face ones where nade by Daphne and the Jack the Ripper's were made by Alex! Watched the movie Halloween (1978) and fell asleep on the couch. Didn't play all the great games we had organized like Bloody Mary or the ones with the apples in the tub but still it was so great. We also had caramel apples! Definitely one of the most crazy Halloween parties! Congrats to Daphne for all this hard work (seriously, she has been organizing this gathering for almost two weeks!) and for the great great decorations! Ghosts where lingering from tree branches and little pumpkin faced lights where hanging on the mirror, not to mention the bats on the walls!

I wasn't really sure how I would begin this post. It has been such a long time (almost a month) and I missed this whole thing so badly! So, here I am again, posting about my new life and stuff. Hope you're still here, dear readers.

My days in the new city are lovely. Met new people, made good friends and had great classes! Of course there are stuff I miss back home but in general everything is pretty cool.

I really love this time of year. It is cold enough to wear your lovely tights, cardigans and woolen jumpers but not cold enough to get lost inside the big fat coats. I love this time of year especially because you can have lovely cinnamon tea and silly chitchats at cafes, play scrabble till morning, tuck yourself under the warm blankets and bake apple muffins.
My bff has planned an amazing Halloween party and I really can't deal with my excitement! I was hoping I could make a boo-tiful ghost cake but I left all my things at home, argh! It will be LEGENDARY and I know it!

Thing is that when you live on your own you actually have to deal with certain stuff that you never considered , like opening a jar of jam or doing the damn dishes all the time. I personally, needed help to open a jar. Fantastic. And still, weird noises at night totally creep me out. It's like horror movie night, every day. I should probably get a night light like a seven year old. But then, there are the good parts like you can paint the kitchen pink or even choose your own detergent for the washing machine! You spend your money the way you want (that meaning that you can actually starve for a few days, so that you can buy that amazing ballerina glitter skirt.). I also discovered a great site for students, where you can find easy and cheap recipes for 1 instead of 8 people! I will be cooking a lot since I think its healthier and cheaper than junk food. Some days i eat cookies and leftover morning coffee for lunch, feeling really cool and loose!

Today, was a cold day. I can feel the summer ending, my feet getting cold. I didn't really know what to wear on my way to the city. I felt confused. This is the last day of summer. My house is ready but I don't feel excited. I don't really feel like moving out, like losing all my best people. But it is a fresh start after all. And I have always loved fresh starts!

It seems that some Anonymous has made a big entrance in the blog world. I recently got a hate mail in Greek. I 've seen other hate mails on fellow bloggers' blogs but never thought I could get one too. This anonymous person, is actually really bothered with anyone who has got a blog and a personality and claims that my sweets and baked goods are not edible (or good enough for his or her taste, Julia Child of the internet)! Well, I really don't have a problem with his or her opinion. I believe that once you expose yourself and your lifestyle on the internet you have to accept the feedback either it is nice or mean. So, dear anonymous, thank you for your comment and for spending some of your personal time reading and commenting. I am not mad but actually grateful. I've learned to receive others' opinion and thoughts. Oh and I hope that some time I can treat you to some cookies and tea, so that you have actually tried something that I baked. Thanks again!

Well, I really couldn't be happier cause I got my dream house. As many of you might now, I am officially now a student and I will be moving out my parents' house. The weeks are going by really fast and I have more and more things to do. Nothing is ready yet, I have to paint the whole house and move all my furniture. I know its going to be crazy but I am really excited about everything.
I'm really not sure how I am going to give up my lovely bedroom. (but I'm taking those lights with me!)

I was saving this particular picture for the end! This, my dear people, is the view from my new home! The building where my new apartment is, is in front of the sea!
So, i baked an apple tart, ate a whole pot of Ben&Jerry's cookie dough ice cream, had mexican dinner,went to a lovely french cafe,drunk special cocoa,spent time in a bookstore... blah blah blah
The most important thing is that this week I'll start packing my stuff, books, clothes etc and on Thursday I am off to Volos.
Also, I am renovating the kitchen as well in my new place and I think I should paint it in a light pink, a baby pink color! A pink kitchen, lovely isn't it?

I spent the weekend with my bff at home,enjoying the pancakes she made for breakfast, listening to Elvis Presley and The Beatles and drinking hot cocoa. The good thing when you're with your bff is you can drink tooo much coffee, sing too loud, lough your ass off and talk, talk, TALK! We also hit IKEA (it has been my second home for the past few weeks) and bought the chairs for my dinning table (yey)! Below is my current home, since my new house is not ready yet.

friday night saturday morning-nouvelle vague

This week has been so amazingly beautiful but tiring at the same time. I'm loving this whole new life and I'm sure I will bore you soon with my mumbling but I'm so so so excited! I've been to IKEA 3 or 4 times. I've bought beautiful little thinks, bookcases, tables and a few lambs. I will be going soon again to buy everything else (dishes, glasses, rags, pillows, blankets...etc) I am receiving the most beautiful gifts and I will be soon getting a DSLR! Can't wait to invite you all to my home for tea and cookies!

I got so many exciting news to share with you all! Got my results and I'll be moving in a beautiful city, called Volos. I will study to become a kindergarten teacher and finally, I will make my dream come true. Just yesterday I got back from there. I did go to find a nice place but instead I found an amazing one. Next week I'll know for sure if im getting it and I will be sharing a lot more with you!But for now, its a surprise! I have to admit that i am so so happy that i can't sleep at nights. I stay up till like 4am thinking that this phase is too good to be true. I am so happy yey!. Also, I'm visiting IKEA soon to get stuff for my place! I LOVE THIS!

Last weekend I got a heart shaped muffin tray. Ofc I didn't lose time and baked some goodies!

On to the cupcakes: I pulled off the buttercream frosting, at last! Have to say it was pretty difficult and the kitchen got a terrible messy place i had to clean for 2 hours and a half. The pink buttercream was pretty much everywhere in the house. I am not so much into this buttercream thing, i prefer cream cheese frosting better. So stay tuned cause Im making some this week!

love like a sunset part 2-phoenix

I officially came back yesterday. This summer was superb and really relaxing. Had the best time, lying on the beach, reading novels, eating peaches, doing kayak and spending time with family. Unlike my friends, I stayed at the same place for almost a month and enjoyed the last summer as a little girl! My college results haven't come out yet. I'll get 'em on Monday and then I'll finally know where I'm studying. Really can't believe this difficult school year is over.
Today I had waffles for breakfast, for the first time in months. Oh, I can still feel this sweet taste in my mouth. If only I could make and eat waffles every day! Today I was thinking that my blog has been really dull for the past months. Unlike other bloggers, who post consistently, own an SLR, went to tropical places this summer, or generally traveled the world, I have nothing remotely close to that. I see 16 year olds who got great blogs, just by posting a normal day of theirs. And I feel so jealous because my reality, in a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most exciting life e-v-e-r, I'm close to 3. Maybe its just a phase, but still I'm sure I'll figure this out.
Enough with my meaningless mumbling. I got so many inspirations, plans and thoughts to share with you from now on. This year is going to be a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Just that I'm moving out in my own place makes me smile when getting up in the morning. No school, no waking up at 7am, no catching the bus, no tests, no homework, no school nights! From now on, my reality will hit a 20! And you will be a part of it (i hope).

With all this moving out thing my mind has gone wild! I stay up late, reading design books and magazines. I already chose my china and tea cups.
Sometimes a new home is only a roof to put over your head. In my case it really is more than that. This new home is going to be something really special for me. I promise I will keep it neat and clean, smelling clean laundry. The dishes will always be done and the coffee maker will always be full. I hope someday you can stop and say hello, I'll give you cookies too. What I mean is that I'll love it with all my heart and now, as I think about it I really need to move out. Boxes. Lately they come for several uses...If only I could put him in a box.
I really hope that my home will be in a great neighborhood. At least an acceptable one. BUT: i would give extra points for flowers, gardens and yards.
Well, fellow bloggers, it has been a long long time since I posted my face on this blog. Maybe you miss me, maybe you don't. In any case I will be posting really soon for my summer vacation. Got a lot of things to catch up with so I will be seeing you in quite a long time!

Hello readers, or whatever is left from you!
I know i haven't been the best blogger in the world this year but i promise i'll make it up to you. My results finally came out and they are pretty good. However, not that good to keep me in my hometown. I will be moving to another little city in Greece to study to be a kindergarten teacher! For more details and further information about that i'll be posting on August so stay tuned.
I have so many ideas for my home, I'm spending time on the IKEA catalogue, I'm browsing design sites and little shops that take care of old furniture and appliances and make them vintage and fashionable! It is fun, although it would be more fun if we did have a little more money! Mom is optimistic and officially now my interior decorator! She is excited with the whole "Home From the Beginning" project! Not that I blame her, I am too!
All I know is that I gotta buy a washing machine! I have already figured everything else. I have planned for our old fridge smth really cool: there is a shop where you can choose a big collage of everything; from movie stars, singers, models etc. and cover the fridge with that! How cool is that? I already chose Audrey Hepburn so, she will be baking cupcakes with me at my new home.

I prepared a little post for you on the beauty stuff and cosmetics I have been using lately. I will be reviewing some of them too, so that you can have an opinion on something you may want to get for yourselves. It is just that I am waiting for my results ,which come out tomorrow and i have been so nervous that i wanted something to keep me going!

garnier deodorant spray: gives you great feeling of freshness and smells amazing! The only thing bothering me is that it is quite pricey! 8/10

clean & clear daily facial wash: oh this is my favorite facial wash big time! it's absolutely my favorite product ever. Not only gives shine free skin all day, it has a wonderful smell and bursting beads for extra freshness! It comes in a very affordable price and it is totally worth it! 10/10

AIM white naturals toothpaste: who could actually resist in a toothpaste with lemon and mint? It is the best toothpaste i have ever used in my life! The best thing: makes me wanna brush my teeth 4 times a day! 9.5/10

herbal essences conditioner: great smell, comes in a very big package (extra points for that) and is great for sort of long hair. Makes my hair super easy to comb and that is great cause i got thin hair that break easily.With raspberry and silk extract. perfect for summer days, when hair usually gets thin and chipped. 8.5/10

nivea straight & easy shampoo: i couldn't actually believe that a shampoo could do such thing until i tried it. I instantly called my bff. Perfect for frizzy, unmanageable hair. You just blow dry them and you're ready to go! 10/10

vaseline cocoa butter: vitalising gel, great for summer and days lying at the beach. Helps get a tan fast and has amazing smell. However it is a bit thick and greasy and you could use it best if you water your hands first. With cocoa butter, brazilian nut and almond oils. 7/10

le petit marseilles hydrating cream: makes skin smell like creme brulee and hydrates fully. With shea, sweet almond and argan oil. 8/10

dolce & gabanna the one, perfume and body lotion: kind of heavy smell for summer, but it is to die for. Naturally i wouldn't wear it at that time of year but i am completely out of perfumes! It has a rather sexy smell and i wouldn't buy it again once it is finished because i really believe it doesn't suit my personality. As for the lotion, i really think it is a great choice to go for summer nights. Wearing perfume is too much, but the lotion is just great. The smell lingers till the day after and this is absolutely lovely. 7/10

Today it is the National Doughnut Day. That means it is our day! So, me and my bestie got some doughnuts from the local bakery to celebrate!

Hello my dearest readers! After all this time, my final exams are over. Can you imagine what that means? Free time for myself. I bet you get what i mean only by the title!Rome,was all about food and cute guys!Unfortunately i don't have good photos of the last part...

Helloooo, blogger is back from Rome excited and tired.

I am not gonna bore you with meaningless mumbling of how tired I am of studying 24/7. In one month, hopefully I am gonna be a careless girl, wandering around the city, holding proudly a Nikon camera and having the best time with all my girls!

Rome was perfetto ...all these places, the foods, the people. I didn't get to shop much cause I was saving up money for a camera, so i ended up with some great headbands, a blazer, a dress and some Lush goodies! This last part-oh my-is the best one. I got bath bombs and massage bars in amazing flavors and scents. But the best ones were bought for my best friend: a sex bomb, a Mrs Whippy bomb and a shimmy shimmy bar! I found the shop out of the smell in the air! Soooo lets get the roll started

HELLO hello! Happy Thursday bloggers! I am so happy to be back even for an inspirational post. Not much to say, just that i am staying at home, studying like crazy for the past moths. But it is fine, it is. I'm only 2 months away from my final exams and i really can't wait for that. Studying was/is/will be really hard! But i'll cope with that, just like everyone else did.

NEWS 'n UPDATES: Nutella has been an awfully good and loyal friend to me. I am leaving for Rome in about 2 WEEKS. I can't buy anything cause i'm keeping money for my trip. I chose the dress for my graduation. I made a strawberry tart. I wish i could be outside taking outfit pictures with the dresses i got. I ate a whole Ben and Jerry's pot of strawberry cheescake ice cream. Tomorrow i am going for coffee with my bff for the first time in three months. I'll probably get a Nikon 3000. I deleted my facebook account (what a relief). I'm listening to the 500 days of Summer score soundtrack 24/7. I should be studying Latin instead of blogging. I lost my purse.I'm only thinking of the 'gelato' i'll be having in Italy. I finished all my perfumes. I drink tea night and day. I'm beginning to have dreams with Aristotle and Plato. Im thinking of buying a new pair of glasses. I am designing my future home every time im having a break. I'm obsessed with the cherry blossom trees. Lat week i failed at making cupcakes. Coffee is giving me superpowers.

a BIG HELLO! to all the blogworld out there.. I missed you so much and i decided to post my latest news! It's been almost a whole month since my last login that's why it feels so strange to be back! Anyways, I will be posting but not really often. Get ready for a rather long scroll down!

i also attempted to make macarons but failed it so bad. i almost cried.

I also GOT A WAFFLE MAKER!!! one of the sweetest girls in school bought it for me as a surprise present!

she definitely put a silly smile on my face for the whole day! I had no time to waste so when i got home i immediately put a waffle dough together and made this delicious thing with peach jam and icing sugar!

last week daddy had his birthday-we took these delicious little cake-like desserts full of whipped cream and syrup (!)

spring like outfit! there's my new creamy white tights and my new brown satchel bag!

Well, i really had a great time and as i think of it, i don't care if i have to do so much studying when i get to have such great moments with friends and family. Also, in almost 2 months I'm leaving for...ROME!!! I am in a strict shopping budget so that i don't spend my money and keep it for my shopping spree in Italy. I imagine myself wandering around the city in pretty outfits just like Julia Roberts in "Eat, pray, love"!

ALSO: If you haven't watched the movie "Waitress" yet, you have no excuse. one of my top rated romantic movies!!! totally worth it!

Hello lovelies! I hope that you are all enjoying yourselves so much! The food and the sleep are just terrific this time of year!

The only problem that I am having is the fact that i can't concentrate 100 % to my studying/homework. Although today, i did great on my Latin class (thumbs up!) and i got so proud of myself that i decided to bake winter muffins! I went for a new recipe, with apples and cinnamon!

they're sooo delicious..probably the best muffs i made in 2010!

Lately i have been enjoying myself so much that at some point i got worried! Its so odd to be lying on the couch,having lunch while watching How I met your mother and feeling so indescribably HAPPY. Its such a little thing. Imagine what it feels like when making muffins!

I also went on a quick shopping spree today and got an Audrey Hepburn shirt and a lovely cream-knitted pair of tights! (again the happy feeling!)

On 31st of December i'm doing my resolutions list! I always get really excited in new beginnings :)

Hello my dear gingerbreads and merry Christmas!

I hope you'are enjoying yourselves so much that you don't even have enough time to blog about it!

This month has been great! We did so many super exciting things, one of them being the Swap NOT Shop party!

I am enjoying so much my Christmas break. Everything is magical outside; the decorations, the smells, the wrapping papers and the holiday sweets. I started using my Vanilla Spice shimmering lotion from Body Shop and my Vanilla body mist and everyone tells me i smell like a Christmas cake! I so love this!

Yesterday i went shopping for a pair of Mary-Jane black shoes and a cute dress!

Today i went to IKEA with Daphne, bought some baking essentials and had the best time exploring the little houses and stuff. We ate muffins, cinnamon rolls and drunk hot chocolate (free refill rocks!) We also made wishlists for our exchange presents!

Today afternoon I am baking Christmas cookies or cupcakes! I still haven't made my mind!

I have been waiting so long for this time of year so that i could bake and bake and bake non stop! Now its time!

Στον αέρα χορεύει μια μυρωδιά βανίλιας όσο τα καπκεικς και το ζεστό τσάι ετοιμάζονται. Η χριστουγεννιάτικη ταινια ειναι στο pause και εσυ ετοιμάζεις το φρόστινγκ..Και κάπου εκεί στη βιβλιοθηκη...πλάι στα στριμωγμένα βιβλία της ζαχαροπλαστικής ειναι τα βιβλια της σχολής σου...

"Θα τη περάσεις ζάχαρη!"

Εύχομαι τετοια εποχη του χρόνου, να διαλέγω τσαγιερες στο BUTLERS, να τυλίγω δωρα για τις κολλητές μου και να φτιάχνω σουφλε.

i miss lazy afternoons

Bonjour loves! I am happy to get back to you, blogging about Christmas stuff and wishes. However i think there's something wrong with me.

I am having a tough time focusing on my studying. I keep thinking about next year, or how much i wanna bake cupcakes and decorate them with my best friends, or go shopping, or make plans for my future home, or even stare out the window while drinking hot cocoa. Simple as that. BUT I CAN'T. Cause if i do all these things, i'd feel guilty for not studying. But on the other hand, i can't study either. I've come to a place where i can't even look at my books. I am fed up. With my mom, with my teachers and my papers. Argh. 5 more months to go. Only 5. I wish i had a time machine.

Anyways, I'm so sorry for whining i know its not fair. Everything will go back to normal really soon!!! This week was pretty fun! Decorated the Christmas tree and my room. Went to the Christmas Bazaar at my shcool where we girls, served tea, went for some quick shopping! It was so nice!

hello dear readers, it's been a tough week and i am so sorry if i have not replied to your comments yet. The upcoming week is even worse but the fact that Christmas is almost here makes me feel so much better. I am so excited for the upcoming Swap NOT Shop party that is about to take place on December 19 plus, its the muffin edition!
I have been making some lists about christmas stuff i will be needing! I'll finally buy a waffle maker and some new lights to put on my window. I need a big red jumper and a pair of polka dot tights.
I am planning on throwing a Cupcake-Christmas-Tea party at my place as soon as I decorate the tree with my dad! We will be baking lots of cupcakes, drinking tea and watching Christmas movies. It's gonna be perfect

Christmas is all about hot chocolate, white lights on the windows, gingerbread cookies with shiny ribbons on the christmas tree, cinnamon and vanilla scent in the air, plans and wishes, walks in the afternoon tucked in your warm scarf, glitter and stardust, Frank Sinatra songs and baking!

I suggest you make lists with all the things that you like about Christmas! Write down your thoughts and wants about this specific year. Plan your days and have an amazing time! Go shopping with your friends, buy teapots and bake gingerbread cookies. Decorate them with your little brother or sister, have fun in the kitchen, listen to happy Christmas songs and watch Home Alone. Because Christmas without that movie is like a cupcake without frosting!

TEA TIME EVERYONE!
Good afternoon fellow bloggers! Another week, another weekend, another pile of homework! But we'll make it right?

just made a hot cup of cinammon-apple tea. Lately that is the only way that helps me cope with endless homework. I am a loyal tea fan, and will always be one! This is the article i am working on for my English class and i'm telling you: regardless that it has to do with chocolate, is boring as hell!

Yesterday, mom and Kate had birthday! I baked a few plain vanilla cupcakes (as Katy wanted!) and brought them to school, with a proud pink candle on top! Unfortunately i couldn't make the chocolate fudge cake i told you on my last post 'cause i didn't have enough time-but someday i will!promise

Lately i have been spending the nights tucked in my blue warm blanket watching movies, eating cereal. This completely makes my day-even the school nights-. Instead of watching silly series on TV, i watch a fav movie and then head immediately to bed!

all i'm saying is that it doesn't have to be a weekend to watch movies in bed!!!

Hello dear readers--countdown to Christmas: 41 days left (according to my new diary)
How was your week? Mine has been surprisingly good although i think i might have broken the washing machine (!). So, i had a lot of homework to finish esp yesterday and the clock just seemed really angry with me (yelling at me actually)But i managed it and now i am posting.
I spent the afternoon yesterday watching Gossip Girl and browsing my cookbooks for an inspiring recipe! I'll go for truffles!

isn't it just amazing? (i'm thinking of making it for my mom's b-day on Saturday)

On Monday i went out with my bf and we hit the stores! I bought a lovely Tea Party pendant i have been wanting for so long

i am in love with it (the cupcake pendant is a gift i got for my b-day)

i also got a new scrapbook and i am so excited!!! I am planning on making the chocolate truffles recipe tonight! I can't wait but first i gotta finish homewooooooork! (argh)

Starbucks put the new Christmas cups! That means Christmas is right down the corner and I couldn't be happier!

Good morning everyone! I love Sundayyy and today was a great morning. Watched the House Of Mouse with my dad along with some nutella toast (my brother's special toast!). yeah, so i should be probably studying Latin for tomorrow's test now but i had so many things in my mind and wanted to share with you guys. So, i do know, that loooong text bores/ scares/ makes you click the x button up on the right. But, i am still posting. Even if you don't read (offenses not taken) enjoy the pictures!

What did you all do for Halloween? Our gathering was so fun! Daphne prepared a green-ish jelly with jelly warms and I, a chocolate suffle. For dinner we ate mom's cheese suffle. Jo dressed up as a witch but the rest of us didn't (lame)! Daphne put on some scary make up and then we watched a Halloween thriller (Trick or Treat). It's such a pity we don't celebrate Halloween cause its such a fun night. Although we didn't find a pumpkin we made it work and it felt like Halloween night!

Well, yesterday while i was getting ready for dinner with friends, i was watching Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, one of the coolest movies ever, right? I noticed a lot of glaring mistakes, that probably a little kid wouldn't, but still. In the beginning it says that the five tickets had been sent to all parts of the world and it shows specifically Tokyo and Marrakesh (where people would trade goats for four WONKA bars!) But, none from those places won a ticket. In fact, all of the kids where from the US. Ok except the German boy Augustus but this just doesn't make sense. Also, after this boy fell on the chocolate waterfall...ew! I wouldn't want to buy a Wonka bar with Augustus Gloop flavor! And Willy Wonka says that none is allowed to ever touch the chocolate waterfall. (you never brake Willy Wonka's rules!) The whole point of the movie in my opinion is absolutely amazing and makes it officially one of the top movies on my list. And of course the best line:

Mike Tivi: Why is everything in this room completely pointless?

Charlie Bucket: Candy doesn't have to have a point. That's why it's candy...

all of these kids got what they deserved in the end, hurray! I hated you all!

LATELY: i have been spending my time listening to music and making Christmas Lists (!!!!), ok and studying a lot! I've been making so many plans for next year and for College...its going to be legen....wait for it..-dary!!

Also, i am craving so much for a trip, somewhere, anywhere. But if i got to choose, it would be def Paris! yes, again!

Ok. so people hold on tight cause Christmas is almost here (around 60 days or smth)

and i will be posting so many things in a couple-a-days! I have so many lists and papers and gotta organize my little desk and make new lists for IKEA (jo told me yesterday, Christmas stuff is out!).Got so many things to prepare and buy a new diary. I'll be also hosting a Christmas party at my place and it has to be amazing!

Oh, almost forgtot! Here is my apple tart i told you about on my last post! It turned out to be delicious!

Hello loves
it's been a lovely, rainy and cold morning which i love, with a huge pile of To-Do homework, which i hate! But that's what tea is for. ok and a few chocolate-vanilla cookies (don't make it a big deal!).
Halloween is on Sunday (yey!) only i wish we had a pumpkin too! Daphne and i, are organizing this amazing party for Sunday which i hope will turn out to be amazingly good! Stay tuned for photos

and yesterday i spent the day listening to Miles Davis and keeping notes with my fav recipes of the month. I ended up on the carpet eating maltesers and watching one of the most epic movies: Micmacs à tire-larigot. I love this director and generally European productions.

Tomorrow i'm planning on making an apple pie for my mom and dad as a surprise! Wish me luck cause i've never done one before!

Hello lovies! Unusual for me to post on Thursdays but finished early today and i felt like blogging! I wish i had time to blog, or watch your blogs, or read magazines, or do all the things on my To Do List, WATCH MOVIES (i miss that so much). Generally i wish this year ends soon cause i'm sick of studying. Yesterday was one of the worst days, but in the end a wonderful teacher cheered me up!

On Sunday i found some time and baked these delicious Mr.Double Chocolate muffins for my friends!

they were a great success and my friends really enjoyed them on Monday@school!

This week i feel like crawling under my duvet and never crawling out again. I dream of me tucked under a blanket on my sofa, watching Big Bang Theory, loughin with tears while eating noodles on Saturday nights. Everyday life has become a bit dull and tiring and all i can think of is a relaxing weekend on MY couch. nothing else.

Here is the recipe for those muffins

Double Chocolate Sponge

Ingredients:

75 g dark chocolate, chopped--50g unsalted butter,softened--175 g light brown sugar--2 eggs beaten-- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract--150 g plain flour--1 rounded tablespoon cocoa powder--1/2 teaspoon baking powder--1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda--a pinch of salt--125 ml soured cream--100 ml boiling water.

Preparation

Melt the chocolate either in a microwave or in heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Gradually add the beaten eggs, mixing well between each addition. Add the vanilla and melted chocolate and stir well. Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt together. Add to the mixture in alternate batches with the soured cream. Add the boiling water and mix until smooth. Preheat the oven to 180 C and bake for 20 minutes.

Bonjour dearest people! Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my room and for those asking, YES it is always like that cause i am a neat freak and I love to clean and tide up. (so far, so weird!) i can't sleep at night when i know that my room is a mess and there have been many times that i've stayed until 2am cleaning up the place, just like Jane on 27 dresses!
Last week, i went out with my best friends to celebrate my birthday. And i have to tell you guys, it was such a blast! we had fun, played board-games and drunk milkshakes and tea! I am aware that for some of you that must have been a boring Sat. night but for me was something really special and fun!

But the special of that nigh was the....b-day cake surprise! The have planned it all, and i didn't even cross my mind this whole surprise thing! Oh, how much i love them!

I got so amazing presents from all: a cooking book, a cupcake necklace along with a notebook with sweets on, a t-shirt with donut pattern, a wonderful scarf, MAC eye shadow and lipstick(name:Patisserie-how cool is that?!) a pair of tights and a dress. Mommy bought me some things i needed for baking stuff♥

Good evening blogworld!
Missed you all and wanted to thank each and every one of you for your so sweet wishes!
Winter knocked my door yesterday so, i though i'd better bake some cookies, while i'll be searching for the box with my scarfs. So, chocolate cookies are on! (the smell still lingers everywhere at home, something i could die for in winter) I so love this season, every little part of it and i wouldn't trade this period for anything. Time to put all my Frank Sinatra CDs in my iPod, find cool tights, buy a wool dress and a new oversize red sweater, drink hot chocolate without feeling guilty, wear my most treasured scarf...

HURRAY! today its my birthday and i am sooo excited about it! I wore my best outfit and headed to school! Its such an amazing feeling, yet a little depressing that you're getting old. good evening loves,
here i am! survived another week of endless homework, classes, assignments and projects due yesterday. i actually found my laptop which was hidden in a secret closet to prevent me from checking my updates!(but that's what library's computers are for, right?)
Anyways, it's been a good week in general and as autumn arrives i feel happier than ever. Skirts, dresses, cardigans, tights, tights, tights! Today we had our annual Mountain Day trip at school and it was pretty fun. We had a pick-nick with cake, hot cocoa, cookies and stuff. Friends, talking, laughing, pictures..take a look!

good evening my dearest people! missed you all so much but it's been a tough week (first week in school), with huge piles of homework and assignments! But here i am, to blog about the fun parts of the week!

as i mentioned on my last post, i'm a senior this year-and that means i gotta do a lot of studying...! (haha)
This week was so FULL! First of all my b.f moved out of her place and went to another apartment, the NY apartment as i like to call it! (its so vintage plus, it has a view to the sea!). Secondly little R. had her 17th b-day-so we threw a little party for that! (ate some chineese and had strawberry cake)
TODAY: is sunday, right? Students are supposed to be studying on Sundays, but i simply COULD NOT! So, daphne came over and we watched a terrible thriller (case 39) and baked a strawberry pastaflora!

this Sunday was so much fun but now that i remembered , i am supposed to be studying latin instead of typing on my keyboard. aaaaargh this sucks! But i like it- i like my routine and long studying. i like school and how my mother wakes me up every morning and hands me the cup with my take-out tea. i like it when i close the books and head to bed in my pj's whining cause it's late. i like how i prepare my outfit before going to sleep. i like blogging secretly under my desk!

i am really happy right now with everything in my life. i'm not scared with this year (although i will be in a while!). i only wish, some things would have turned out differently with someone who i really miss now and has been really important to me. But i do believe (always) that changes happen for good. in every little thing. And it's up to us to see that and move on with our lives...

people hey-today is my b.f's birthday and I am so damn excited about that-I was planning to make her a surprise party at my house, but she has class until late (and thats why i am posting that now ofc!) cause I won't be making it. I was pretty sad, cause I've planned the whole thing-and now, if she reads this post she must be really sad too. But still, my bestie is turning 17 today! I wish you EVERYTHING dear and I hope that we'll grow old together and celebrate our 97 together, baking birthday cupcakes and talking about style.

now, you know that i wanted to make a surprise birthday party for you- but be aware, cause surprise parties are more fun when they are real SURPRISE parties... (hihihi)

So, as said to my last post I would be posting some things from my reality lately! School starts in about 12 days-not so excited- and it's my senior year. I actually don't believe that this will be my last year in school and this is so exciting yet, weird. Anyway, I'll try do my best when it comes to studying-which has already begun-but i feel excited for this fresh start.

i went for coffee and a walk at the city on Tuesday with a my friend G. and took some pictures of the sunset

baked some cupcakes this morning.

These are the books I bought with the last money I had for this month but it felt really good-i understood that not only clothes can make you happy. Sometimes, you just need to buy something for YOU as a person.
(but you know, clothes are nice too-so i bought a floral dress on my way home!)

these past few days, i am spending my time studying for my lessons and sketching my future house. Next year, i'll probably be moving out of my parents' house and I absolutely can't wait for that moment-ahh, i keep having pictures of me in IKEA, picking out mugs, plates and stuff! as you can see, i've found my motives to start studying!

next year i'll be doing so many things like travelling to Paris and London, reading literature, visiting friends, exploring music, relaxing, making countless plans for my life..if only I could study what i really want to.
so, with that i have to leave you guys. For now, lets just focus on being HAPPY. That's the most important at all times as my friend V. says!

Hello dearest readers! Vacation officially ended last week, so it was time I post something now that I am back. I have to admit, I really missed blogging and city life, so its good to be back (I think i am too tanned for the city-i hate that!)

this summer included: fresh homemade iced lemonade, friends, books, laughters, board games, pictures, peach pies, love, seaside walks, sunrises, sunbathing with iPod, early wake ups, donuts,beeeers, fashion magazines, plans for an amazing new year, funny hangovers(!), ice creams and BBQs, guys from Poland, crepes, night swimming(Daphne, if you're reading this you must be smiling!), our tent, surfers, Harry Potter marathons, floral headbands, naps under the trees...

So these were my lovely holidays-I hope you like the pictures :)

Next week I am doing a post for my closet and clothes and for my city life, now that I am studying like crazy!

Good evening my darling girls,

How are things everyone? Back-again- feeling a bit confused, but totally in love!

I just returned from the trip with my best friend. We went to a camping and had so much fun! We even named our pretty little tent, donut! (phtos on that later!)

So, this was my first day in the city after a long time so we went out with Daphne. Usual stuff that you can never get bored of! Shopping, coffee at Starbucks while chit chatting and gossiping, macarons, quick lunch and lots of iced lemonade. We had a 5 hour outing and let me tell you, it was such an amazing one! I had so much fun!

We went to the stores that had sales too (so convenient!) and tried a few dresses on!

The blogger is back with her summerish mood on!

How have you been my dear readers? Almost three weeks since my last post and I am missing you all like crazy! I am back from camp, super excited with all the new experiences. It was a tough time but I am pretty sure I did well! Now, I am getting ready for my next adventure with my bf in a tent!

Today was the first day I went to the city centre after such a long time! I miss holding shopping bags, Starbucks coffee cups and walking on pavements(its weird I know).

Now that camp is over is time to forget about kids' voices, torn jeans and white tops full of tomato sauce stamps! It is now my turn, to step into my chic sandals and floral dresses, wear perfume instead of body splash and enjoy putting on my sun cream instead of yelling to 11 year olds while they are getting ready for the seaside! It was about time for normal vacation consisted of: strawberry sun cream, beers, sandals, skirts and dresses, ice cream, boyfriend, iPod, fashion magazines, lots of iced homemade lemonade, talking on the phone and seaside walks! It sounds idyllic and I am proud that I will get to do it!

After such a long time at camp all of my clothes went directly in the washing machine-and I enjoy doing my laundry!

So, as I told you before...I went to the stores today and a few dresses caught my eye!

I hope I'll get some money and buy one of them! Because I fell in love...!

You know something, I believe that facebook ruins everything. The minute you think your guy and you are the perfect thing on earth, you bump into an album where he's spending time with a beautiful girl, playing and lying on the grass. No, no, no! I have nothing specific on my mind-Just talking generally! ARGH!I spent the whole day today, with my iPod, diary and scrapbook...thought of ending the post with the picture!

The exams frenzy is finally coming to an end on Wednesday! I am so excited because I can't stop thinking myself lying in my new bathing suit on the beach with my watermelon sun cream, listening to my Summer Playlist on the iPod while reading a magazine...priceless moments for teens like us! Two more lessons and we're off to the paradise...

It was about time for a shopping spree with my best friend! So let me tell you one thing, I can't resist to dressing room pictures but I don't think I am that bad- Its an easy way to make sure you look pretty in that dress/skirt/top or anything before buying it! I totally recommend it!

Hello dearest readers,

So sorry for the lack of posts but I am having school exams.I completely hate this period-no time for yourself, friends and things that have FUN!

Anyway, I thought of connecting my pc again and typing my boring news! Although I think there is something interesting in my dull life!I think I am falling in love all over again! It's such an amazing feeling!

Here's a day in the park with Daphnee and this is my vintage uniform!

Yesterday I went to the super market and bought some ice cream: Ben&Jerrie's Cookie Dough! Did anyone of you know, such a flavor exists? I was so thrilled, I opened my eyes wide open and I was like "Oh my GOD". Sometimes I think I am exaggerating in reactions but this time it was normal! Now I am going through the phase: "I scream for ICE CREAM!"

What you just saw doesn't look weird right? Let me tell you..This is my laundry failure. Epic failure actually. And do you know why? Take a look-what you see in yellow was one day white! I laughed so hard when I took the clothes out of the washing machine. It is bad though..It still hurts! But it was a fun day :) The only good thing was a turquise blouse from Zara that came out to be vert-amand if you know what I mean (kid of peanut!) which I love!

I am going to take off, watch some "How I met your mother" episodes with my maltesers and get lost into my history books!

And thank you all for your incredible and so sweet comments that make my day! I wish I could get back to each of you but I am in a difficult season, hope you understand..

Hello dearest readers, old and new!

Found some time to post something quick, about the movie I watched and made me think a lot!

As I wrote on my last post, I watched "An Education" with Carey Mulligan, Alfred Molina and Peter Sarsgaard. (while reading this post, click here, to listen to a great song that will put you in the mood!)

The story begins in the early 1960's. A girl, Jenny Mellor, lives with her parents in a London suburb. Jenny is sixteen, bright and beautiful, studying her way to success, for the University of Oxford, until the day she meets a man, nearly twice her age who changes all of her plans. Jenny loves Paris and craves for a chic lifestyle and soon gets accustomed to David's life. Their relationship does move into becoming a romantic one. Now Jenny has to decide weather she moves on with her bright future plans of studying at Oxford or following David's (not so legal way of making money) life which consists of trips to Paris, parties and high society life...

Throughout the whole movie, I fell in love with all of the outfits and the style. It was so-Audrey Hepburn style!
And now I have to thank Lorelai for giving me such a lovely award! I love your blog so much and I am really happy that I met such a wonderful girl!!! Thanks again :)

I am here again to report from a super crazy period! I am studying all day long an I am feeling so tired, so I decided I go shopping one day just to loosen up a little bit! I just got a new haircut but at first I was pretty sad cause it was really short but now I loved it! I think it looks chic!

Dear lovely readers,

my life is a mess cause I just found out, I am an expert on giving love advices to others while I keep stamping on my own heart. I keep doing the same old stupid mistake; giving out love to someone who in the end didn't care that much. And I am sure, while you are going down with these silly lines you are saying to yourself "alright, there's another boring girl, who says the same". I should assure you that I am saying the same when I hear that stupid line too!

And now comes the big question: Why do boys prove to be so indescribably STUPID in the end? WHY WHY WHY? The one day you think you're absolutely in love and the other you feel so broken hearted that you wanna sink inside the ice cream you just bought. (OK the family one, yes the one with the extra caramel syrup-but that makes no difference in your already pathetic life).

Everyone is breaking up, everyone is finding new boyfriends. But what about us, who have been stuck in the middle? Neither in a relationship, nor single. We are trapped in the stupid reality of "no-labels-relationships". I feel like stuffing my mouth with donuts and big chocolates. Its normal, I guess. These are the true friends that are going to stay by you in endless cry-nights! I hate being like this. I hate seeing my inbox stuck in zero. But I am sure that I'll keep doing the same mistake, over and over again until I'm left with no hopes 'n dreams. Nah, I am kidding emo doesn't suit me! I am girl who needs romance, cupcakes and pink in her life!

What I need right now is to gather myself up, go shopping with bfs, eat ice-cream, watch romantic movies, read Joanna's blog and cry in bits. In a week or two everything will be back to normal! And you know what? Everyone needs to be shaken up a little bit, just like a strawberry milkshake. This way, we'll understand our purpose in life, appreciate what we already have and more importantly learn from our mistakes.

Good afternoon my dear readers,
I am back! Finally I am sitting on my fav warm armchair, scrolling down the pictures from my trip to Paris. I decided to post about it! I still can't believe that I actually did go to this amazing city. I loved every single thing there; the people, the architecture, the lifestyle, the metro, the buildings, the desserts, the culture.
I mean everything was like we were acting in a romantic comedy. I never thought that this romantic Paris was the real one. We visited loads of museums but I'm not going to bore you with dull statues and paintings. I loved all the French cafes with the classic waiters and the music. Loved all kinds of desserts that we tried (tarte de pomme, tarte de citron, creme brulee) with a slight passion for the last one! I loved the people walking on the streets; so fashionable that I always felt pretty under dressed. And when we used the metro, pictures from the movie 'Amelie' were running through mind.
oh no. don't get me started on fashion boutiques 'cause this post will be endless! Chanel, Dior, Louis and bla bla bla! (only window shopping-currently my pocket doesn't afford this kind of shopping!). I only got a pair of Vivienne Westwood ballerina shoes (creamy white) from the Melissa collection! When we were roaming on the streets I was listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday (put me in the mood for Paris)! The most important thing; I fell in love withmyself. My dear readers,

only 16 hours left until I leave for Paris! I am so excited I can't even concentrate to pack my suitcase! Gosh, I love this particular time of travelling, when you have to organise the proper things for your suitcase and then pack them. Then I love the airport thing... Oh, I really can't believe I am actually going there! Its like a dream finally coming true! Now, I'm listening to this song which has absolutely made my day and I am browsing for inspirational pictures!

I went to buy a Teen Vogue just for my flight 'cause I didn't know what to do and found out some really cool things about my fashion icons. Well, I continue to despise Taylor Momsen but still I think she looks steaming hot in her cool outfits. Although she was so cute and girlie in Gossip Girl, season 1 now she has turned her style into funky rock that reminds me something of grunge. I don't like leather jackets but I find them really interesting when she is wearing them!

I still wonder how she came to be a teen idol!

Now, as for my own fav fashion icons! Alexa Chung and lately Peaches Geldof (I am now discovering her style)

The truth is that I don't actually love all of her outfits but for sure she is absolutely chic and stylish in most of her outings! This outfits is one of my favs : )

Now, something for Pattinson fans! I watched Remember me twice! Yes I went to the movies two times and watched the same movie (only the second time, it was the ice cream edition!). He is GORGEOUS. We couldn't take our eyes of him! And the movie was sooo great! I absolutely recommend it!

Good evening my dear readers!

My thoughts go out to New York City as I lay on my couch. (Joanna is to blame-yes you my darling girl,with all ur fancy fb pictures!)

And I wonder; what is it about NY that makes us wanna pack our things and catch the first plane? Is it that reminds us of Carrie Bradshaw and her darling girls? Or is it about the bakeries? Or about the amazing Times Square? Or is it the yellow cabs? I wonder. Will I get to live in this city before I turn 90? They say, each one of us, has to visit NY someday in his life. I believe its true. There is something magical about it.

I'd die for an apartment downtown! (and who wouldn't!) And I believe that life can turn out to be a movie after all. 'Cause you see all these amazing movies, where they live in cool apartments on the Upper East Side and you imagine yourself entering the room and clicking on your voice machine while taking your Chloe boots off! Who says that this can't be true? NONE!
Well, I guess I have dreamt enough. Its time to get back in my dull reality which is consisted of endless homework and mad parents, I am living the real life. But, I am telling you dear readers, one day I'll be blogging from my apartment somewhere in NY City! So remember that! Now that I am a bit sick I would like to introduce you to my new friends! My tissues and my cup of warm cocoa! They keep me cheered up all day long!(So, I guess they deserve to be mentioned).

Today, we went with my friends at Playhouse, a cafe where you can also play board games! Its my fav one since I love games especially with great friends! Tomorrow, I am planning on making cupcakes, but I am having a problem. I don't really know how to make the icing. So, please my dear friends, I would really appreciate it if you could send me a recipe for the frosting!!!

Since I didn't know how to kill my endless time, I thought of spending some time browsing on the internet on Luch.com! I so love these products plus, they are organic! Only the flavors and the variety of products makes them officially worth buying. I read almost all the reviews and each product's analysis as if I am going to be tested : ) And I literally fell in love with the bath melt; Mmm Melting Marshmallow Moment! A moment before I got to leave the website a title cought my eye; Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder! OMG (I never use im but I am making an exception!) Its is a sweetly scented powder to keep the skin smooth and help the clothes slide on and off! I am making a credit card to go for online shopping. Thats it! How about you? Goodmorning my dear followers!

I have to admit I feel pretty proud of my 118 followesrs! Thanks for supporting me and my blog, I really love all your sweet thoughts and comments!

Well, this period of time and especially next year will be extremely difficult for me since I am having the final exams for the University I am going to study at. My mind is full of thoughts and dreams for a brilliant future and I am super excited with the idea of moving out of my current house. I imagine myself, in a cute and cosy downtown apartment, with sweet lights and pretty decoration. I have got a huge pile of decoration magazines and books and every time I want to conentrate and set new motives, I open one of them and browse for my future home! This way, I gain power to study more and furthermore succeed. I have this new moto while studying boring history pages: 'Give it a go and think of your cosy house'

My idyllic house would be somewhere in an old neighbourhood, full of pretty buildings with balconies. A little scent of Amelie's neighbourhood for example. Old white windows, almond trees, vintage bookstores and lots of flowers! The air would smell of hot chocolate and croissant. I know its way too unusual and really hard to happen, but who cares! I really believe that our life could be like a movie.

All my inspirations come from Paris apartments and buildings! I would love to have a really nice bakery nearby too. As for my interior decoration, I have to tell you that I love lights! Cosy, sweet and beautiful lights, make THE difference in the house. It doesn't matter wether you have the most cool decoration ever, if you don't have the right lamps lighting the place up. I am telling you there's nothing better than a cosy light next to a vintage window and freshly baked cookies in a rainy day!

I fell in love with that. Literally.

Now, do you see the difference? It lights up the whole room and makes it a place where you want to snuggle up, eat cupcakes and drink hot cocoa while playing board games! Moving on with the kitchen. Take a sneak peek.

Fun wallpapers, different coloured bowls and dishes, shelves for cookbooks, grandma's vintage tea sets, a pink Smeg fridge and a purple mixer! Its time I lead to you to my bedroom. I would absolutely settle with something like that.

Now, here are some tips I found on a deco magazine to transform your place:

Put a picture of your beloved animal next to your doorbell, saying 'welcome home'!
If you have stairs in your house, paint them in different colors to make it more fun!
Put pictures of your life, in unusual frames of different kinds on a wall.
Paint the ceiling in a light-pastel color. Light blue or creamy white. When you'll look up, you will think you are in heaven!
Invest in sweet-smelling detergents for your laundry. Lavender will absolutely make your day!
Put vintage wallpaper in your wardrobe.
Mirrors! Lots of them, in different places, in different colors!
Buy a warm basket, with a cute pillow for your loving animal and place it in the corner of your living room.

I am back again, yet in spring mood this time and I feeling better than great.

I am starting my Sunday post with this so-cute song I heard the moment I woke up!Today, I feel like stuffing my mouth with Dunkin donuts and hot cocoa and sitting on my comfortable sofa like an old lady! I established my own "Movie Marathon Day" and I will start it today, begining with 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' then '27 Dresses' and 'The Holiday'. For the ending movie I am between 'Nanny Diaries' and 'Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging'. Which one do you suggest? I know its much, but I'll make it :)
Now here is something I wanted to share with you. Yesterday I watched Julie and Julia and I found it really cute and witty! I thought that it would be only recipes and boring scenes, but I was wrong! I am telling you its really good stuff, plus you will absolutely fall in love with Julie's style and her kitchen. Half of the movie, takes place in Paris in 1949 (extra bonus, for Paris lovers!) where, Julia Child, a woman who starts cooking for fun, turns out to be really good at it. She writes a book which is publiced in the end with the name"Mastering the Art of Cooking". Then, back to our times, in 2002 Julie Powell, about to turn 30, underemployed with an unpublished novel, decides to cook her way through "Mastering the Art of French Cooking"in a year and to blog about it. We go back and forth between these stories of two women who literally cook their way to success!

And here is my favorite quote from the movie: Julie Powell: "You know what I love about cooking?I love that after a day when nothing is sure, and when I say "nothing" I mean nothing, you can come home and absolutely know, that if you add egg yolks to chocolate and sugar and milk, it will get thick and there's a chocolate cream pie! Its such a comfort."

Hello beauties

I really missed you all, but I am here again, blogging! I finally found my laptop under the big pile of my papers! Homework the past few days could be considered endless. Tests, exams and loooots of over night studying, thanks to coffee I survived this difficult war!

I could say that Spring, my favorite season, is finally here. Even though, today is raining! I love spring becuase I can wear light clothes without being cold, such as dresses, skirts and floral leggings! Isn't that great? I won't be hidden under my thick moody coats! What to you love in Spring?

Good morning sunshines!

I'm back for another cool post for you, holding my hot cup of cocoa with baby marshamallows on top!

I was thinking about my post's subject all day long but I didn't actually find something specific! I'll go for pretty and beautiful Audrey Hepburn style!

-I love lace (I actually live for it) even though sometimes it is believed old fashioned! I'd die for a hair like that and for bows that are tied so beautifully on them. Plus, maltesers are a girl's best friend! So, this pictures is one of my inspirations for an amazing style!

In the movie, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' I absolutely loved her! She's one of a kind, pretty, stylish, so chic and elegant. I couldn't resist-I watched the movie over a thousand times!With this I end my post-I have to go to the hairdresser's to have a new haircut : )

Hey lovely readers! What have you been up to lately?!

Another Friday, finds me (finally) blogging while downloading movies to spend the night with!

Remember that costume that I was going to make? Well, it turned out to be really cool in the end and I really enjoyed it! I dressed up as a Cupcake : ) It was really easy to make it and I have to admit that I was really cute! hehe! Take a look at that! So, today I bought these yummy marmelade cookies on my way home and they really inspired me to take a picture!

I am so excited that all my friends are back home! (Daphne and Jo). They also bought me such cuute presents! I couldn't be happier actually!

Today we came up with our Valentine's Day plan! We, the single ladies, are going to watch "Valentine's Day" at the cinema and then go out somewhere really fancy for a drink! We will also buy presents for each other so that we don't feel lonely that day! Its gonna be awesome. Much better if we actually had a boyfriend : ) Hahaha! I hope that you come up with something too, if you don't want to spend Valentine's night tucked under your warm blanket on the couch while watching old "Friends" DVDs ! Remember that you don't have to be in a relationship to feel loved! WE GIRLS, CAN BE HAPPY ON OUR OWN TOO!

Hello sweethearts!

How have you been?! Its been such a long time and I am so sorry, but I have been pretty busy with all my homework and the projects!

This weekend is going to be really cool and fun although Daphne is away in the "Cold City" as I like to call it. She's in Finland in a small town for a students' exchange program she took part! I really miss her... But she told me that she's bringing me a present :D I really hope she is having a great time!So does Joanna, who is in Boston! I really miss uu!

Anyways, here it snowed on Wednesday and it was really weird cause it never snows! It was so much fun and we took loads of pictures! Tomorrow, I am going to the city to buy stuff for my costume! I am dressing up as a candy! I'll make a skirt with candies and a headband too! I hope it looks cool : ) When I finish it I'll take pictures and show you!

Tomorrow I will make a Strawberry Pastaflora! I found this vintage recipe in my grandma's recipe books and I am really excited to bake it!

Oh mon dieu! I can't believe that I actually found some time to post something new to my blog

How have you been sweeties?What have you been up to all this time?Lately, I have been finding myself hidden under a huge pile of books and worksheets. This week sucks but thats ok* I think possitive as long as I have some time for my fav.TV series, 90210 Beverly Hills and Big Bang Theory, Chocolate coffee and extra cookie packets in the cupboards! How pathethic is that?

So, I am so addicted to "The Big Bang Theory" TV series. Weird for me, cause I really despise anything that has to do with maths or physics!I absoluetly adore these guys-you know! This series is so fresh and I really like the idea of the geeks/nerds who spend their days analyzing theories, solving math problems, watching Star Wars over and over again,playing video games and acting completely weird and so on and so off. There is this cool "next door girl" too, Penny who joins this group and despite being completely different, fits perfectly too! They make me roll on the floor loughing! And thats exactly what I need right now!
Now I am a bit jealous. I mean, I would kill for friends like them, hanging around all the time, talking or not, eating chinese food and organizing video games tournaments on Friday nights. They are COOL :D

One of my really really good friends downloaded for me the second season and I am ready to enjoy it tonight while eating my Honey nut Cheerios! Tomorrow, I'll go to the movies with Daphne, to watch Sherlock Holmes! Super excited! Also, I will buy the Star Wars OST. I am getting to know this geeky world! (I'll start collecting comics too!)
